.Hello! I'm a sports media talent most recently working as a multimedia journalist and anchor at the ABC affiliate in Bakersfield, California.
I found my passion for sportscasting as a kid, muting the television and calling the games in my living room. When I entered high school, I created a sports show for the school’s newscast, winning several awards for my work. That show opened me up to the idea of covering sports and sharing stories for a living, something I could hardly consider a job.
As I enrolled in T.V. production at Arizona State University, sports became more impactful to me. A year removed from the Boston bombings, I watched survivor after survivor take the field during the Red Sox ring ceremony. Fenway Park was silent and fans were moved to tears. During my first professional job, I covered Kobe Bryant’s death in Los Angeles as fans came to pay their respects and share stories I couldn’t believe.
My ultimate goal is to create sports content and share stories within sports through a multitude of outlets and in innovative ways, that help bring people together.
